Diamonds Are Forever
by Gloria Glitzer, Franziska Brandt & Moritz Grünke
Glitch is cosmic
“We recognize that bodies are not fixed points, they are not destinations.Bodies are journey. Bodies move. Bodies are abstract. We recognize that we begin in abstraction and then journey toward becoming. To transcend the limits of the body we need to let go of what a body should look like, what it should do, how it should live. We recognize that, within the process of letting go, we may mourn; this morning is a part of our growing. We celebrate the courage it takes to change form, the joy and pain that can come with exploring different selves, and the power that comes from finding new selves.”
— Legacy Russell, »Glitch – Feminism A Manifesto«
We have long felt the need to make a publication that celebrates the moment and us as individual bodies in it.
It's pure and intimate, but we also feel how hard that is against the backdrop of all the obligations, constraints and dependencies.
I am in the world, but am I really?
Sometimes there is this need to be in the here and now, but this thinking offers only a very fragile security.
The appreciation of one's own identity is an uncertain constant.
Therefore, let us be kind to our own body in which we are housed
I’m not an error - I am beauty as I am
Love me and my gloria glitzer
Still processing, stilling living, still dying
I can do better
I am not a mistake!
Yes of course, you are adored!
